Now you can simply add by pressing "Add library" and directing kontakt to the library location. I haven't had a single problem with any of the libraries and lots of them are not in this format, it is just the standard format. In fact, kontakt is very good and recognizing the instruments and samples folders even if they're in sub folders. Your root folder structure should look like this: Put the ".nicnt" and "wallpaper.png" into library root folder. Then you just make a wallpaper image (size: 15 cm x 3.46 cm works) Save the file when you're done into the library location.

DO NOT start the ID with an A, for some reason kontakt doesn't like it.Įdit only those tags that I mentioned, don't delete any empty lines at the bottom of the file. It is HEX and therefore it may only contain digits from 0 to 9 (like 123 or 984), or both digits and letters from A to F(like ff5). Then you need to edit ef5 and put a unique id into it. You need to edit My Library and My Library tags - put a name you want your library to be shown as, needs to be the same as the name of the file "My Library.nicnt"! nicnt file, and open it in a text editor.

Sent from my GT-N7100It's pretty simple really, all you need to do is create a new ".nicnt" file and a new "wallpaper.png" image for each library destination. I didn't know you can do that in kontakt with these libraties.
